While it's a 4th story walkup (no elevator), it's worth the journey as it removes you from the street noise and the cathedral ceilings bring in plenty of natural light. From the moment you walk in, the long hallway, adorned with a spacious built-in wardrobe closet, welcomes you into a world of sophisticated urban living.
The master bedroom, with its high-ceilings and luxurious king-sized bed, is both quiet and extremely comfortable with a ceiling fan and brand new AC unit inside. There is a separate desk to work from and a large closet.
For extra guests, there is a separate loft overlooking the living room with a very comfortable memory foam, queen sized mattress. Great for an extra guest or two.

We really enjoyed our stay at this well equipped apartment. Jon our host was very friendly and responsive. First, the location can not be beat! It's 1/2 block from the subway and Trader Joes and very close to Central Park. Pretty much any type of restaurant, market or other retail business was within walking distance or a short subway ride away. The place is spacious for the price. It's a one bedroom but the loft and large living room area made it seem much bigger. My wife and I were here to be with our oldest daughter who was having our first grandchild and at times we had our other two daughters visiting us. We never felt crowded with the private bedroom, large secluded loft and spacious living room. The kitchen is small but adequate and well equipped with dishes, pots, pans and utensils etc. A big plus is the in unit washer/dryer which is a luxury in NY and was used often. WIFI was very fast, which was a must for my wife, who had to do remote work during our stay. Overall we had a great stay and would come back again. If there was any negative to speak of, the biggest would be the fact that the apartment is on the 4th floor which can be a tiring climb at times and perhaps a deal breaker for those with health issues or disabilities. Hauling groceries up several flights of stairs can become a chore depending on your fitness level. For us we enjoyed feeling our legs get stronger the longer we stayed. Overall, it was a great stay and we hope to someday be back!
