`Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish! Fantastic getaway for couples who want a private cozy stay away from city noise. Within 10-15 minute drive of cities surrounding lake. Spectacular views can’t be beat when you’re directly on the water. Hosts were kind and extremely attentive to detail before we arrived which helped immensely. Wake up to beautiful views of Lake Thun and the Swiss Alps in this authentic Swiss chalet in Gunten located directly on Lake Thun. Expect nature, fresh air, and peaceful surroundings — not crowds.
This Authentic Swiss Chalet at Lake Thun with 2 bedrooms, for up to 4 guests (adults only, no children allowed), and free public parking place 30m away, ideal for couples, and friends seeking comfort, outdoor activities, and a truly Swiss experience 🇨🇭
• Fully equipped kitchen
• Living and dining area with a balcony with stunning views
• 2 bedrooms with a double bed each
• 1 Full bathroom
• 1 Additional toilet
• This chalet features some indoor areas with low ceilings—please watch your head
• Private lake access with outdoor shower

A peaceful residential area above Lake Thun with alpine scenery and direct access to hiking trails. Ideal for hiking, skiing, biking, swimming, sailing, paragliding — or simply relaxing on the balcony and garden 😌.
Getting around 🚌
• Please note the roads are curvy, narrow, and steep. Drive carefully and enjoy the ride.
• The area is well served by public transport. At check-in, you’ll receive a tourist card with free bus access and great local discounts.
• The nearest bus stop is right in front of the chalet, followed by a 25-minute bus ride to Thun train station.
🕙 Check-Out Instructions (10:00 AM)
• Standard cleaning is included if these steps are followed. Extra fees may apply.
• Leave trash in the bin under the kitchen sink.
• Start the dishwasher (or wash by hand). Do not store wet dishes.
• Leave used towels on the bathroom floor.
• Turn off the stove and lights.
• Return items to their original places.
• Left-behind items will be donated.
• Lock the doors and return the key to the keybox.

• Quiet hours after 10 PM, especially on the balcony. Noise sensors are in place.
• No parties. Authorities may be notified.
• No smoking indoors or on the balcony.
