The balcony door didn’t close all the way. There was a gap which caused it not to latch to be able to lock it. The fridge was rusted on one side. There was no pantry for food storage. Needs an update / renovation badly.

We have stayed at Destin West several times over the years and always enjoy the location and facilities offered. This year though, the unit we stayed in left much to be desired. It was much more worn, dirty and tired than any condo we have ever stayed in. There was also a lack of basic kitchen supplies that are normally offered, and the patio door did not even fully close. The mgmt team was responsive and we still very much enjoyed the common spaces, but we would not stay in this unit again, unless it was renovated and cleaned.
