Welcome to The Fat Pigeon! Boasting some great views of the surrounding native bush and Omiha Bay - this is a sunny and peaceful home waiting with open arms!
The Fat Pigeon has been thoughtfully furnished and styled to create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere - perfect for recharging your batteries this holiday. This holiday home also comes equipped with some of the must-haves including WiFi, SKY TV, two sea kayaks with life jackets. The fireplace and heat pump are on hand for the colder months or in summer set yourself up on the deck to soak in the tranquil bush surrounds and sea views!
Spread across three storeys and sleeping up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy their holiday. Then bring the family or group back together in the generous open-plan living, dining and kitchen area for a good meal at the end of a busy day exploring.
For days outdoors, there is ample room to relax in the sun from large sundeck to the main garden which offers a private pathway through the native bush to a secluded stream and dining area. Plus, you are just a 2-minute walk to the Rocky Bay playground and beach!
Everything you need for an excellent Waiheke getaway - Head to Omiha and put your feet up at The Fat Pigeon!
This property has unfenced access to a large expanse of bush with a stream nearby. It is essential that guests take personal responsibility for the safety of their group in and around the bush area adjacent to the property.
Please note that the no parties policy is strictly enforced at this property. Guests are kindly requested to keep voices and music low (especially outside) between 10pm and 8am so that the neighbours are not disturbed.

Lovely place
However main bathroom is not adequate for all guests
Needs a mirror in downstairs bedroom
Outdoor chairs are on their last legs and dangerous to sit on (need replacing)
Very hard to find- even taxis couldn’t find it-and would be good to let know very steep and rocky driveway- we would have taken a different car
Otherwise we were very happy

This is a fabulous property close to bus routes so easy to get to yet away from it all nestled in the bush. Views space and decks with birdsong made this a memorable
Trip plus some exercise on bush walks which are close by. Lovely bay and beach as well. We shall stay here again
