About this house rental
Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay in North Georgia. Enjoy coffee in the morning and wine in the evenings with amazing views of our quiet cove. The dock is located right across from Thompson Creek put in so you can easily bring your boat over and tie up to the dock. We also have two kayaks available for you to use. Fully-stocked kitchen. There is also a grill off of the side deck.
Huge lake lot with dock on quiet cove. Lots of green space for playing yard games (horseshoes, anyone?). There is also a firepit for nighttime smores and plenty of trees if you'd like to set up a hammock. If you are in for a quiet night, we have 2 smart tvs with Netflix, Prime, Hulu and Disney+. And, of course, 2 porches with a spectacular view of the lake.
If you aren't swimming, boating, sipping or grilling, there are so many things to do in the area:
Within just a few miles, you can find movies, the North Georgia Premium outlets (so many great stores!), lots of restaurants, Planet and One Life Fitness, and the Chestatee River for tubing.
Dawsonville is also a short drive to Dahlonega, GA- a great little town with shops, restaurants, wineries and all kinds of historical buildings. Also the home of UNG, the goldmines and the Smith House.
The lake house is a great spot for a family vacation, a girls or guys weekend, a quiet retreat, or a peaceful, romantic getaway.

The house was fully stocked! When we arrived, there was coffee, a kit for smores, firewood, clean towels and linens, additional blankets, cooking utensils, fishing poles, tackle box, and bait.
I feel so refreshed from this trip. The home felt like home to us. Thank you for having us!

We are a family that loves the water and this was a great place for us. It has a great dock and quiet area to swim and paddle board. The house is tucked away with great views and quietness but it’s only a short drive to be back on the main roads. Our hosts made the property feel comfortable and their attention to detail was appreciated. We were able to take a short drive to see a Braves game and visit some small towns in the area to explore. We have already talked about coming back next year…

We chose to stick close to home this year for spring break and rented this amazing lake house!! The whole trip was flawless, from the easy checkin, to the sweet treats she left us, and the use of her boat dock!! The rooms were perfect, everyone was happy!! We will 100% be renting again!!
