Romantic Detached Holiday Home on the Veluwe

We chose this bungalow because the photos looked so nice and it offered all the comfort we have at home. We were not disappointed; all of our expectations were met. ❤️ Apart from the comfortable, spacious lounge with flat screen TV +all international programs and NETFLIX, the kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/deep freezer, cooker, hoven, dishwasher +enough cutlery, plates and enough towels for a family. A washing machine and tumbler are available in the bathroom which was very useful. I particularly appreciated the cordless vacuum-cleaner, so practical to keep the place spotless. And there is enough space for your clothes and other belongings. The garden with pergola is beautiful and very private with a lushy vegetation. And we had a private parking just by the house. We felt at home. The location in Voorthuizen is ideal to explore the nearby Veluwe and surrounding towns. Our guests Harmke and Arjan were very hospitable and came out twice especially to help with the TV set up as well as with the internet connection and were easily reachable for anything we needed. Everything positive except for two things: the bed was too near the window, which is not very comfortable if you have to get up, (a problem I brought up with our hosts) and the mirror in the bathroom is far too high for small people. Minor complaints for a stay which was otherwise perfect in every way, weather included. We can recommend this holiday home for a couple or for families, it is just beautiful!!!

Nice home and a very convenient neighbourhood. My family and I enjoyed our long weekend very much. Definitely recommend!
