House is remote which we wanted. It is well equipped with kitchen necessities. Sheets and towels supplied which is nice. Beds were comfortable. Very extensive movie and record collection!! Loved the sound system. Couldn’t figure out how to use the oven, so we changed dinner plans and found a few great local places to eat instead.

Had a great time. It’s a beautiful house and property. Walked the trail and found lady slippers in bloom. While cooking on the deck we watched a small bear wander through.

Everything you could possibly want for a get away. Beds were comfortable. Living quarters were more than expected. Having a fire in the fireplace was wonderful and homey. We so enjoyed our relax and recharge weekend there. Definitely planning on a return trip.

Definitely need 4 wheel drive vehicle if staying here in winter months. House is located 2 miles into the woods up a steep dirt road that may not be reliably maintained/plowed during snow and ice storms, so be prepared. House is cozy, beds are comfy, dog friendly, great DVD collection, and wood burning stove fireplace. A good place to unplug and relax. Poor cell reception at house and surrounding area. 40-45 mins to Stratton across winding back roads. House is very off the beaten path if you’re skiing. Not much of anything in the immediate area food wise so plan ahead to cook at the house.
