Our "Gartenblick" vacation rental:
The vacation rental is approximately 60 square meters and equipped with a shower and toilet. The apartment has a separate bedroom with a double bed, a crib, and a closet. You can relax in the combined living and dining room (open kitchen with 2 stovetops, an oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, sink, and cookware, including a coffee maker, toaster, and electric kettle), a seating area with a table, a large double sofa bed, a desk, and a large LED color TV.
The bathroom and toilet were completely modernized at the end of 2025.
You also have the option to use a balcony and our small beverage shop.
Tanne is located in the eastern Upper Harz region (approx. 10 km east of Braunlage). Since Tanne is centrally located in the Harz Mountains, it serves as an excellent starting point for numerous hiking and excursion opportunities, as well as various trips to nearby towns such as Wernigerode, Quedlinburg, Blankenburg, Goslar, Bad Harzburg, Nordhausen, or Braunlage. Other destinations in the Harz Mountains include the Hexentanzplatz in Thale, the stalactite caves in Rübeland, the Western-themed town “Pullmann City 2” in Hasselfelde, or the mining museums “Am Rabensteiner Stollen” and “Büchenberg.” An absolute must, of course, is climbing the “Brocken,” either on foot or via the Brocken Railway. The nearest station on the “Harzer Schmalspurbahn” is just 2 kilometers away. In addition, when there is enough snow, there are groomed cross-country ski trails, and in Braunlage there is a downhill slope with a ski lift and an ice rink open year-round. There is also a dedicated bike path here. Various indoor swimming pools are available in Braunlage, Bad Lauterberg, Thale, or Bad Sachsa.
