It is not an easy area to get Ubers or Lyfts so we recommend having a car if you are going to be staying here. Must have 4x4 or AWD vehicles to access the private road to the house. Only vehicles shorter than 10’9” and smaller than 12’0” wide will fit in through our gate.

The dinosaur retreat did not disappoint!!!! Plan to cook or bring food up from town, bc you will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. That was definitely part of the appeal for me!!!!

Beautiful home, the kids and adults alike enjoyed the dinosaurs. Richard and his team are extremely easy to communicate with. The house itself had many added amenities including a movie night treat for the kids which they loved! Wonderful stay, will be back!

The home is clean, the location is gorgeous, cell coverage not great but Wi-Fi works good. The communication was excellent and check in process was flawless. Hot tub water was cloudy, looked dirty. The main attraction here is all about the dinosaurs, which were incredible! The kids absolutely loved it, and it was a lot of fun. There's one small bedroom on the main floor, it has twin bunk beds. The upstairs bedrooms are all open to the downstairs. They are beautifully done but it feels like you are sleeping in a treehouse at a sleepover with all your friends. You can hear absolutely everything going on in the house at all times. There is no degree of separation whatsoever. Also, the ceilings in the upstairs hallways are very low and the angle of the roof obstructs the hallway even further. All of the tall people in our party hit their heads several times. We did enjoy our stay very much, and we love the location for its beauty and access to things we like to do.

this place was awesome and my kiddos thought it was super cool. but the entire upstairs is open and you can hear every sound from every room in the house. teens and adults is fine but nap times and bedtimes were a bit of a nightmare. otherwise really cool place!
