About this villa rental
Family house decorated with care, typical of the region, fully air-conditioned.
It has 5 bedrooms, one of which is for children, and can accommodate 4 couples.
It is located on the Bvd de l'Océan in Pyla sur Mer, 50 m from the beach on foot and all the shops (grocery store, newsagent, pharmacy, bakery, butcher, fishmonger, restaurants etc.).
Next to the Bourg du Moulleau, the Pyla sailing club (CVPM) and a few kilometres from the Dune.
In high season it is a central location, no need to take the car to access all the amenities.
It has a fully enclosed and green garden with an outdoor hot water shower, and an outdoor kitchen at the back of the house completely redone spring 2019 with a plancha and a brazier.
The garden overlooks the living and dining area in front of the house, on the ocean bd and to the rear a quiet corner perfect for breakfast in the sun which has an outdoor summer kitchen adjoining the kitchen.
A large bright living room (Living / Dining room) with fireplace; electric shutters and large sofa.
A separate fully equipped kitchen.
(Oven, microwave, Nespresso machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster etc...)
On the first floor:
A bedroom with a 140 cm double bed overlooks the back and has a private bathroom, shower and toilet. (This room and bathroom are suitable for a disabled person)
A laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
Upstairs:
- A charming little room of 9m² with bunk beds in 90, ideal for children
- A toilet on the landing
- A bedroom overlooking the garden with a 140 cm bed and direct access to the bathroom with an old freestanding bathtub.
- Another bedroom with a 180 cm bed (separable into 2 beds of 90) which overlooks the back of the house. A real cocoon, it has a sink.
- The 5th bedroom also has a 180 cm bed that can be separated, and a small balcony overlooking the garden. This bedroom also has its own water point.
The air conditioning for the whole house was put into operation at the beginning of 2022.
The outdoor area is very friendly, fully fenced and wooded, it offers the possibility of bringing in a car. The gate locks.
The back of the house is furnished and has an outdoor kitchen with stainless steel dishwasher, plancha and barbecue.

Perfect villa in Pyla. Close to the beach and the amenities. Well decorated and equipped. Not the cheapest alternative but corresponds to what you are paying for.
The owners were there to welcome us and available to address any question during our stay.

The house is 3 minutes walk from the beach, and about the same to a supermarket, boulangerie, boucherie and fishmonger - so ideally located. The house is well laid out with 4 bedrooms on the first floor and one on the ground floor. The house has air-conditioning - which is excellent. The kitchen is small but there is a large rear area with full barbecue kit. The garden is small but well equipped and a good place to sit and relax or eat. There was an issue with the wifi which the owner dealt with quickly. Beatrice - the owner - was a delight to deal with.We thoroughly enjoyed it and will certainly come back again.

We rented this house jointly with two families in the month of July and had a wonderful stay.
The house itself: the photos are fully representative of the house. It is an old mansion, so hot water for the shower may take some time, but we did not consider that an issue at all. The house was spacy enough for the 8 of us (and would be for 10, too). It's relatively cool even when it's blazing hot outside. It has a lot of charm. Facade should be remodeled, which is due according to our Hosts.
The garden: pretty nice, although some consider the concrete court less charming. Outdoor Sofas are there. Great plancha in the back yard so you can grill fish or meats, veggies.
A bit noisy due to traffic.
The Location: the house is located close enough to "downtown" Le Moulleau and Pyla. It sits on the main street connecting Arcachon to Pyla, although nicely hidden behind trees and Vegetation. Great Job on the gardening! This means - and that was the kick for us - that the place is about 80m away from the beach, which was great. At the same time, this also means that traffic can be a bit loud, in particular on Weekends, at nights when crowds come home from Clubs or when People celebrate Soccer world Championship victory (rare occurrence).
Shops (veggies / fish / meats / baker / Supermarket / tabac-presse) within short Walking distance (3 minutes?).
Easy walk to "downtown" Moulleau (8-10 minutes).
The Hosts:
A very gentle and charming Family, very considerate. Great People to know.
All in all, we had a great vacation.
