Welcome to Villa DIO, a private luxury villa perched on the highest point of Santorini, where breathtaking views of the iconic Caldera, the volcano, and the endless Aegean Sea become part of your everyday experience. Inspired by the island's traditional Iposkafo (cave house) architecture, Villa DIO blends authentic Cycladic character with contemporary comfort. Crisp white walls, elegant minimal design, and the ever-changing colors of the famous Santorini sunset create an atmosphere of serenity, luxury, and effortless relaxation.
The villa comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests across its 3 beautifully designed minimalist bedrooms.
The inviting living room is designed for relaxing together and features a 55" Smart TV and a Sonos Bluetooth speaker, perfect for enjoying your favorite movies or streaming music. Adjacent to the living room, a beautiful marble dining table comfortably seats up to four guests, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Aegean Sea and the iconic Santorini Caldera. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare breakfast, lunch or dinners.
The villa features 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms:
- Bedroom 1 features two twin beds (90 × 200 cm) that can be converted into a king-size bed upon request. The room includes A/C, a 43" Smart TV, a closet, a suitcase stand, blackout curtains, a safe, and direct access to the pool area.
- Bedroom 2 features a Queen-size bed (1.60 x 2.00). The room includes A/C, a 23" Smart TV, an open closet, a suitcase stand, shuttlers and window with Seaview
- Bedroom 3 features a Queen-size bed (1.60 x 2.00). The room includes A/C, a 43" Smart TV, an open closet, a suitcase stand, shuttlers, a safe and window with Seaview
The villa offers Molton Brown bathroom amenities.
Step outside to your private heated infinity pool, where the horizon seems to disappear into the sea. The outdoor space offers:
- a 23 sq.m heated infinity pool with 1.50 depth.
The use of the pool heating system can be arranged with an additional charge of 90€ per day; required 5 days advance notice and needs to be used for the entire stay
- an outdoor shower
- 4 sunbeams & 1 daybed
- a seating area under a pergola
- a dining area for up to 6 guests under a pergola

What a view ! We spent an amazing time at the villa… which was very clean and gorgeous. Spending relaxing time in the infinity pool overlooking the sea. Steps away from restaurants, quiet, not to close to the busy streets. Staff were oustanding ! Would go back anytime

We decided as a group that this was our favorite VRBO! It will exceed all of your expectations. It has beyond breathtaking views. The home is gorgeous. You are pampered daily with a private chef to make breakfast and maid service.
We loved the outdoor space. It is the perfect place to hang out as a family. The views are stunning. The location was perfect. You have lots of privacy because you don’t walking paths right next to your outdoor space.
Yanni was the perfect host. He arranged a delicious private dinner for us, gave recommendations for activities, restaurants and transportation. I didn’t expect a concierge level of hosting but that’s what he provided.
Anyone who wants an exceptional place in Santorini will love this home.

We were extremely pleased with our stay at Villa Dio and would highly recommend it to others. Yani, the Manager for the property, was extremely helpful with coordination before our stay, including organizing the taxi transfer from the port to the Villa. He met us personally at the top and had our luggage brought down by one of the bell boys. At the villa, he spent the time required to advise us of all the things that would be relevant for us and was extremely helpful in organizing our activities, including renting a car for the day as well as potentially organizing a guide at Akrotiri.
As far as the villa is concerned, its location is fantastic with unobtrusive views of the caldera, the living space as well as the bedrooms are gracious. It is in immaculate condition and there was daily cleaning service.
In terms of Firostefani, we couldn't have asked for a better location. For our first two visits to Santorini, we had stayed in a hotel in Oia. However, the towns of Oia and Thera have unfortunately been over-run by significant crowds, including the daily ones from the cruise ships who descend on the two largest towns. Firostefani is quiet and peaceful from that perspective, yet there are restaurants and convenience stores which provide for all of one's basic needs.
So, all in all, we couldn't have been more pleased and would highly recommend this property. The only thing that we would have loved to have had in a property of this quality is a plunge pool, as it gets really hot in Santorini at this time of the year. I am told that this may be in the offering in the future.
