About this house rental

Imagine sitting front terrace on a clear evening. As you are turning towards the south you see greenery, city, castle, sea, a sky fading from purple, bright yellow & blue. Turning south west, white-washed Andalusian homes & finally to the west, hills, followed by mountains framing the sky where the sun set. You hear a soft wind breezing in the trees & birds chirping. Here you stay on the countryside, but in proximity to beaches, hike trails & city commodities all within a 10 min drive. Welcome to Calle Lavanda.



The house has a splendid roofed outdoor terrace (good for hot summer days), a secluded garden in a lush quiet zone with only 20 houses & a community pool. The neighborhood lies just between Fuengirola (with conveniences of beaches, supermarkets, restaurants), Sierra de Mijas (some of the best hiking trails in the region) & Mijas Pueblo, (the famous historic village).

The small townhouse is of good standard, with all the modern appliances you need. It has a large south-east facing roofed terrace, with sea views to the south and mountain views to the east. The small house rooms a living room with a fireplace, kitchen, twi bedrooms with en-suite baths, direct access from living area to the terrace and the secluded garden. The parking is just beneath the stairs leading up to the house and the community pool is within a 2-minute walking distance. There is also a separate handicap-friendly access to the house.

Had a pleasant stay and found the property to be as expected. Nice large covered terrace with some nice views although they are getting obstructed by palm trees. Inside was functional and pleasant and as shown in images. Could have wished for some extra bits and pieces in the kitchen, but nothing critical. Nice swimmingpool, not too far away but quite a hike back up the steep hill when returning home. Excellent communication with host, very fast and pleasant replies.

We had a lovely time here in July. Communication with the host was very responsive and check in was easy despite arriving at 2am due to a delayed flight. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is air con in the living room and upstairs bedroom. It has a very nice terrace outside which is shaded. Parking is easy and it is a 10 minute drive to the beach. The pool is a few minutes walk away but is lovely and quiet most of the time. We would definitely recommend a stay here but you definitely need a car.
