Would be nice to have a shelf in shower area rather than bending to.floor to retrieve soap etc and shower drain is very slow to drain hence standing in dirty water. Otherwise very comfortable.

This is the first really crappy stay we\'ve had using WP and we\'ve used them over a dozen times between personal and work travel. When you arrive, the location is good (exactly as expected) and the complex itself is well kept. We didn\'t even mind that the carpets are quite dirty looking when we entered the unit as it\'s more of a family stay kind of place and it wasn\'t exactly 5-star price point (our stay was just under $3000 for 4 nights). However, too many things just didn\'t work in the unit or needed repair. The day before we arrived they called to tell us the oven had died and they\'d put in a convection oven for our stay. I didn\'t know what that meant but when we showed up there was a toaster oven on the counter that was pretty much useless for a group of 6. It was tiny and definitely not the type of replacement oven I had expected to see upon arrival. We had to break our first night\'s meal into several stages so we could cook bits at a time and it took hours to make dinner using it. We complained that it wasn\'t workable for us and they gave us a $300 credit towards our next stay with them (which we appreciated and we understand it\'s not their fault the oven recently died). However, we tried to use the BBQ the next night to make dinner and it didn\'t work either! We could smell the gas so presumed the starter button was broken when we tried to use it. However, there was no igniter, etc. anywhere in the unit to try to bypass the starter so we called WP again and they said they\'d come the next day. Another dinner scramble on the toaster oven that night.... Then, at 5 pm the next day, they showed up to fix the BBQ but we are now late in day 3 of a 4-day stay and already had made dinner plans out for that night. The cherry on the top for this unit being a bad choice though was the main blinds were broken (so a wide open main window) and WP couldn\'t fix them so you couldn\'t sit facing the windows in the afternoon without getting blinded by the sun. Plus, on both Friday and Saturday night the unit directly across from that window had parties with a strobe light which you now couldn\'t avoid from our unit! You can\'t make this stuff up! It was entertaining for a few minutes to watch shirtless young people have fun but as the nights progressed we had to relocate to the kitchen area on the other side of the unit to unwind. It also impacted one kid\'s sleep but thankfully we easily rectified that by moving him to another bed. Overall, I\'d give this a one-star experience and I wish we\'d booked something else. That is the sole reason for writing this review as I wish someone had warned us that things didn\'t work. I definitely wouldn\'t book this unit until it gets some TLC. As for WP, we have always had pleasant experiences and recommended them and have already booked our next Whistler stay with them (we booked it before this trip). However, for the stay after that we\'ll look to see what some other companies offer because we just weren\'t satisfied with their response. Everything from not wearing a mask when entering our unit to try to fix things (we are vaccinated but the kids aren\'t as too young to receive it) to not ensuring the units they rent out are properly functioning was definitely disappointing. That\'s their main job and they didn\'t do it well before renting this unit to us.
