We stayed with another family, for a total of 4 adults and 3 children (5, 7, 7). The house was perfect for accommodating all of us sleeping and having separate spaces to relax when needed. One down side is that we wish the mattresses were a bit better. Out of 6 beds, there was only 1 mattress that was very comfortable to sleep on (Queen bed upstairs). That being said, it was perfect having 2 master suites for our situation and both sets of adults having a master room.
The kitchen was stocked VERY well with any kitchen gadget we could have possibly needed. 2 fridges (1 upstairs, 1 downstairs) was also very helpful. The laundry was also great to have throghout the week. A calm and pleasant neighborhood. We wish the tram would have run more frequently and if there was some way to track when/where it was because it ended up not being an option for us to use. The oceanfront pool and access to beach ended up being perfect for our group and the kids could go back and forth between the beach and the pool with ease. The snack bar there was also very helpful! The playgrounds were not really something we could take advantage of because they were too hot to use in the direct sun. The sound-side pool was a nice calm spot that was not busy and allowed us to cool off in the pool in a more relaxed setting. Overall had a fantastic time! We would stay again and felt the quality of the house and the ammenities were in line with the pricing for the week.

We were very happy with all aspects of our house and first stay in Corolla Lite. The house easily fit 8 adults and 2 little ones. It was solid, comfortable and clean! The kitchen was very well stocked, which was great since we prepared the majority of our meals.
The covered parking was a nice bonus to shade the cars and make for easy unloading/loading.
We appreciated the clean gas grill with the little backyard area and the front deck - we used it all!
6 beach chairs provided. They are the basic/low seats but did the trick!
The house is a 3 min drive to the resort where the pools, playground, basketball, beach access, putt-putt, shopping, dining, etc is. There are sidewalks so we were also able to walk and bike there too. We didn’t use the shuttle but it’s a nice option since parking is really limited at the resort.
Local grocery store (Food Lion) was less than 10 min away.
Family unanimously agrees we’d plan a return trip!
Only suggestions I’d make are consider:
- Having family/kid (board) games/cards.
- Posting the checkout requirements IN the house or in the welcome packet…and not just via lost in my emails.
- Maybe supply a crockpot. Glad I brought my own just in case…because who doesn’t like EASY dinner cooking WHILE you’re sitting at the beach?!
