About this house rental
Flip Flop House is a private, family-friendly home in the heart of Puerto Villamil. This two-story house has a fully fenced yard and a patio with a hammock—an inviting place to relax after a day exploring the island.
The house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and space for up to five guests. Each room has its own air-conditioning unit. You’ll also have hot water, a fully equipped kitchen, a 60-inch TV, HIGH-SPEED STARLINK INTERNET, and a washer and dryer with laundry supplies.
We provide 100% cotton bed sheets, bath and beach towels, a beach bag, a grocery bag, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and a hair dryer.
A travel crib is available on request.

The house was great, close to bakery and restaurants. We liked the outdoor shower area to rinse our snorkeling gear. We enjoyed the outdoor area, the hammocks and porch.

We were very comfortable and Elena was an amazing host. Thank you so much for being flexible with our schedule too! We would take 4 flights from our home in Canada to stay at the Flip Flop House again anytime!

We are so glad that we chose the Flip Flop House for our two week stay on Isabela. The property was clean, spacious and comfortable and is situated toward the back end of town, but near to several restaurants, cafes tour operators, pharmacies and grocery stores and about a 7 minute walk to the beach and the Flamingo Lagoon. Communication with Elena was excellent, she was always available to answer questions, both before and during our stay.We did not cook much, other than breakfasts, but the kitchen is fairly well equipped with the basics if you do want to prepare a meal. The only thing missing - a suggestion Elena - is a kettle. The local coffee is pretty bad, ground coffee is almost impossible to find, so I recommend drinking either instant coffee or tea. It was no problem as we just used a pot on the stove to heat water. Speaking of water, there was ample clean potable water supplied regularly to the house and we were happy that we had no stomach issues. The air conditioning also worked very well.Elena recommended that we bring our own snorkeling gear and were able to snorkel at Concha Perla. This place had probably the best snorkeling with wildlife, that we did on any of the islands.We felt very safe walking around the area at night, though it gets a bit noisy at the weekends even at 3am, though the house did a good job of cutting out most of the sound.Elena was an excellent host and we would absolutely stay here again!

A beautiful spacious house in the centre of the town. The kitchen has everything you need. Lots of bakeries and restaurants nearby. The beaches are a short walk away. Our family of five had plenty of space in the house. We really enjoyed our stay!
