Do not miss a visit to the imposing archaeological site in Selinunte, where you can see the remains of the ancient city of Selinus.

My husband and I spend 2-4 weeks each June in Sicily. This year we opted for the Southern side. The property is lovely. Very quiet and has fantastic pool for those hot afternoons. The house is well appointed so we felt right at home. Easy drive to the local grocery store (COOP) which has great parking and it was well located to visit neighboring towns, go to the Valley of the Temples and visit the Planeta vineyard to do some wine tasting/pairing before shipping wine back to the U.S. There’s also an excellent restaurant a short walk down the road at an agritourismo. We loved this house and would definitely stay there again if visiting the region.
