About this house rental
Beautiful house in a beautiful place!! It’s quiet and peaceful surrounded by nature. There’s a seasonal creek that runs next to the property. It’s about a mile to Sequoia National Forest and 13 miles to Kings Canyon National Park entrance. EV charging and carport parking. 2 1/2 miles off of the state highway on a paved county road. Keypad entrance so you can come and go as you please. Well behaved pet friendly. All the comforts of home in the middle of nature.

May 2026. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and functional, but not elegant. More like a Best Western than a Hyatt. Minus one star for the location. A little too remote for us, but it might be perfect for you. No gas stations, grocery stores, or restaurants in the area. 30 minute drive to the national park entrance. Twisty windy roads. WiFi was 220 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up. Possible suggestions: some sort of sign at the turn-off from the road, extra trash bags, clean up the yard.

This is a country home, pure and simple- it’s an hour away from groceries and there’s stuff in the yard. But that’s the magic of this place…quiet, surrounded by nature (including Forest Service- and National parkland, bright stars, and a great place to throw a log in the stove and hang. The kitchen is well equipped (induction stove if you’re bringing an extra large pot for example), and the host was responsive and friendly. We’d definitely stay there again.
