About this house rental
This is a very family-friendly, fully restored, and exceptionally comfortable home, originally built in the 1940s. With three stories, the original walls ensure a pleasant temperature even on the hottest days, especially on the first floor. The property features two fully equipped kitchens—one on the first floor with a large dining table, and another on the first floor. There is a half-bath on the first floor, a full bathroom with a shower on the first floor, and a spacious bathroom with a whirlpool tub on the third floor. The ground-floor kitchen opens onto the lawn, which features a well (covered for safety) and several paved areas with tables or chairs for dining or relajarse.Se This is the house where my mother grew up, and where I’ve spent the happiest moments of my life. It’s a place filled with positive energy, and until very recently, it was my place of REST—in capital letters—and I’d love to share this very special spot with others who will enjoy it and take good care of it vivo.Se This house is located in a prime spot, right in the heart of town, a National Heritage area next to one of Monforte de Lemos’s most notable landmarks, the Escolapios Convent, and with a direct view of the Castle of the Counts of Lemos. Despite being just a five-minute walk from Cardenal Street—the area with restaurants, outdoor cafes, and shops—and two minutes from the Parque de los Condes, with its ponds and green spaces, the atmosphere here is quiet and peaceful. Upon arriving at the accommodation, you’ll find a QR code in a visible spot that will direct you to a page I’ve created with information on the most important places—both for tourism and daily life— from the castle and the Augascaidas waterfall to the neighborhood bakery with a hundred years of history, where you can buy bread, wood-fired pork shoulder, unique empanadas, or free-range chicken.
