Nice spot near a plant nursery and many nooks and crannies in the area. Very close to SUNY Cortland and suited our needs for the event we were attending there. This place would be AMAZING to visit in the fall - the views are gorgeous!

I made this reservation for family members coming into town for a memorial service. Before their arrival, I contacted the host about the possibility of checking in early as they were driving from Tennessee with two kids. He was very responsive and accommodating. He even set up the pull out beds after I told him my nephew and family would be traveling overnight. Directions for accessing the property were clear and thorough.The property is very charming and worked well for our purposes. I like the way the downstairs is arranged into several separate areas (living/tv room with sliding doors onto a deck), a small dining/sitting room with windows with lake views on the two exterior walls, and a central office/sitting area that is central to the dining area and to the kitchen. The kitchen has everything you could need. Because we were traveling with children, it was nice to have space where adults could have conversations while the kids played. Speaking of playing, the board games were a big hit! We played so many games of checkers. The upstairs rooms are quiet so some members of the family could get some rest and privacy while others were still visiting. We really enjoyed our stay. We're already considering the possibility of staying here on our next visit this summer.Thank you for a great stay during a difficult time.

Our overall experience was wonderful. The cottage is cozy, accommodating, clean & spacious for 5-7 people. I would highly recommend this cottage to family and friends.
