About this house rental
Abigail's Lake View is an amazing waterfront property located on the main branch of Claytor Lake across from the Claytor Lake State Park. It is located 10 minutes from Radford and 30 minutes from Blacksburg VA. Abigail's Lake View has been a vacation rental since 2018 with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It has an area for a family to have access to swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and boating. There is a place to safely house a boat or any other water toys. It is very private and a great place to have family get togethers. The open floor plan and the expansive decking provides a great area to relax, grill out, eat and visit with family and friends. The fire pit on the vast landing at the lake is a great place to gather also. The lake area has Claytor Lake wrap around views and a cabana for shade. Plenty of outdoor furniture is provided on the decks and at the lake. This house is perfect for guests needing to visit students at Radford University or Virginia Tech.

Our family enjoyed this beautiful lake house for 5 nights. Check-in was an ease with great communication from the owner. Kitchen had plenty of room for cooking for a group of 8, there was also a working propane grill outside. Also had plenty of room to dine inside or out. We enjoyed dinners at the large dining room table up at the house and lunch down by the lake in the boat house. Wi-fi worked great, even with 4 gaming 'tweens'. Layout of the house worked perfectly for our sleeping needs. It included three bedrooms with queen beds and a double car garage that has been converted to a bedroom/den that worked perfectly for all the tweens to play and sleep on the other side of the house. The walk down to the lake wasn't bad at all, just watch out for the loose gravel. It was also nice being able to drive down and up with coolers, food, and the young, elderly, and/or injured. We enjoyed the large amount of lakefront that included 2 docks, one where we tied up our boat.Overall our stay was so much fun and perfect for our family get together. We loved the Claytor Lake sunsets in the evenings. We definitely recommend this rental for a relaxing lake week!

We had an amazing time!! Pictures did not do this place justice! House was stocked and perfect for us. The only dislike was the walk down and up to the lake area.
