Built in 1890, its grand Edwardian porch, stately balcony, and charming Victorian turreted windows capture the romance of a bygone era. Inside, classic character blends seamlessly with thoughtful modern updates, creating a home that is both stylish and comfortable. Ideally located just minutes from downtown, Tara House is perfect for long-term stays, including corporate or employee housing.
The Space
Furnished with antiques, fine artwork, elegant fixtures, and imported chandeliers, this century-old home has been fully modernized for today’s lifestyle. Enjoy 24/7 monitored security, central air, high-speed Wi-Fi, a gas fireplace, big-screen TV, and luxurious jetted bathtubs. Glass-block windows and sparkling chandeliers add a refined, elegant atmosphere throughout.
The newly updated gourmet kitchen is fully equipped for home-cooked meals, which you can enjoy in the formal dining room. Relax with a book in the parlor, get work done in the private office (complete with printer), or unwind in the comfortable family room. The main level also features a ¾ bath and dedicated workspace.
Upstairs, you’ll find three elegant bedrooms. The primary suite includes its own bath with a jetted tub. Bedrooms two and three each have desks and share a spacious hall bath—also with a jetted tub. Bedroom three opens onto the second-floor veranda, offering a lovely view and a peaceful spot to start or end your day.
Outdoors, entertain on the large side patio beneath the pergola, or fire up the grill on the private rear patio overlooking the garden—perfect for long-term guests who enjoy growing seasonal herbs and vegetables.

The home was ready with all the details in order. Host was an absolute pleasure to work with and very accommodating. I brought some of my supplies from home and never needed them. The kitchen is laid out absolutely wonderful to cook in.
