Apartment Gina

It is perched up high, with an incredible view over the town and out to sea. Gina was so welcoming and kind, especially as she could see we were tired and hot. We were travelling in a campervan and it is difficult to know if the parking is going to be safe/high enough, we were able to park on the road but just off the driveway so we could see the van and the area was only for 3 or 4 houses so it felt safe. It was a steep hill up to the house but driveable even in the camper! We visited during a heatwave and Gina checked and suggested a place for us to visit which was going to be the coolest place in the country that day. She was very thoughtful and helpful.

The air con is in the sitting room, which is fine but it was exceptionally hot and we would have loved it in the bedroom too.

In the hills above Opatija, large two bedroom apartment with stunning views of the hillside community and ocean. Quiet, peaceful, very comfortable with a lovely and friendly host, Gina who speaks English, Italian and Croatian. Parking, pool included, highly recommend walking the oceanside promenade in Opatija city center, gorgeous views and restaurants. Looks like the French Riviera.
