Two king bedrooms, a loft game room with a queen sleeper sofa, and indoor and outdoor gas fireplaces make Highland Lodge the perfect home base for your Vermont getaway. Located just 10 minutes from Kingdom Trails and 15 minutes from Burke Mountain, you'll be close to year-round adventure while enjoying the comfort of a brand-new mountain retreat.
The space:
Welcome to Highland Lodge, a newly built home thoughtfully designed for comfort, relaxation, and making memories in Vermont's beautiful Northeast Kingdom.
Spacious Living:
The bright, open-concept main floor features soaring ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and a welcoming living room centered around a cozy gas fireplace. Step outside to the covered deck and enjoy the outdoor gas fireplace, the perfect place to unwind after a day on the trails or the slopes.
Upstairs, the loft game room offers a fun space to relax & play games. The loft also has a queen-size sleeper sofa provides additional sleeping space.
Comfortable Accommodations:
Highland Lodge features two spacious king bedrooms, one on the first floor and one on the second, offering privacy and comfort for couples, families, or friends traveling together.
A full bathroom with a tub and shower is located on each floor for added convenience. The upstairs king bedroom also includes a quiet workspace tucked into a private alcove, making it easy to catch up on work or plan your next adventure. A washer and dryer on the first floor are available for your use throughout your stay.

Whether you're here for mountain biking, skiing, hiking, kayaking, leaf-peeping, snowmobiling, or simply relaxing by the fire, Highland Lodge is the perfect place to return to after a day of adventure.
Guest access:
Guests have exclusive access to the entire home and surrounding property, with the exception of the locked basement.
Other things to note
Road & Driveway Access:
Highland Lodge is accessed by well-maintained dirt roads, and the driveway is on the steeper side. Most vehicles have no trouble in normal conditions, but guests visiting during the winter should plan accordingly with AWD or 4WD.
Exterior Security:
For your peace of mind, the property is equipped with SimpliSafe video doorbells at the front and rear entrances. These cameras monitor only the exterior entryways.

This property was the perfect fit for our week long ski trip! It was near Burke Mountain, but centrally located to easily drive to Jay Peak, Owl’s Head in Quebec, and Cannon Mountain in New Hampshire. These were all INDY Pass Mountains. There were a few more INDY options within 90 minutes, but we chose these as they were the biggest/best for our crew.The house was comfortable, modern, and a relaxing place to come “home” to after skiing each day. Heidi and Marc made sure that we had everything we needed, which we did. We would stay here again, if we are ever lucky enough to head to Vermont again…

The house is newly built, immaculate, and exactly as shown in the pictures. It was decorated so beautiful for Christmas. The house is in a good central location for day trips to Woodstock, Stowe and even to Portland, ME. The kitchen was fully equipped, bathrooms stocked, and bedrooms had nice comfortable mattresses and bedding. The fireplace was an added bonus. We throughly enjoyed our stay here. Heidi was an excellent host. Communicated regularly making sure everything was okay with our stay. The check-in/check-out process was super easy too. Quiet location, but also a short distance to town. We definitely hope to visit again in the near future. You will not be disappointed with this rental or hosts!! 10 out of 10 recommend!!!!
