I am a writer and usually quite precise about language. The very lovely people who own the property where I stayed also own a property at La Pointe Courte, which was my desired location (I came to Sete to do research on La Pointe Courte). Of course, with VRBO you don't get notified as to where you're staying until the last minute, so it wasn't until I actually got to the apartment, which is up the hill from downtown Sete, that I realized that I wasn't actually staying where I had intended. The apartment where I ended up staying was perfectly fine, clean and functional, but it had nothing to do with what I thought I was renting. Is this my fault? The fault of the listing? Not quite sure. But if you want to stay in La Pointe Courte, make absolutely sure that's where you're staying.

The location was too notch and the apartment was perfect. We were greeted by Michelle and I am glad to have had some French language. We did not meet Audrey.
Parking was a challenge but we located a spot and paid 35 euros for 24 hours.
