About this cabin rental
Come and stay in this beautiful 2 King Bedroom, 2 Bath called "Mountain Wonder" that Sleeps 6 with a queen sleeper sofa in Living Room and 2 recliners within 1.5 miles of the Parkway and minutes away from Gatlinburg. Has 2 decks with rockers for viewing the Smoky mountains and Mt Leconte. The cabin is located in the Sherwood Forest Resort.

• Area Activities: hiking in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Jayell Ranch near Dollywood's Splash Country has horseback riding and ATV adventures. Pink Jeep Tours are also a lot of fun. What you will love about Mountain Wonder:
• Beautiful Views of Mt LeConte and the Smoky Mountains. The pictures give a glimpse of the beautiful vista you will enjoy from the front porch and newly added second story deck (!) with rocking chairs
• Access: Roads to the resort are all wide and paved, easily driven and there is parking for 3 cars.
• Amenities: Whether you would like to play pool, soak in the hot tub, Xbox it up (bring your own Xbox s series games, Halo and Rocket League are provided ), play arcade games, swim or get your calm on, Other amenities include: 2 fireplaces (gas living room fireplace turned on October through March)and electric fireplace in upstairs bedroom), a natural gas grill, (4 smart TVs, wifi, and game room with arcade console. Xbox s series is in game room with Rocket Launcher game downloaded. Two recliners in the living room. A Keurig and regular coffee pot are available.
• Location: You are 3 minutes to the Parkway, accessed at stoplight #10. You are on the south end of the Parkway so you are close to Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky National Park
• Safety and security: You are in the popular Sherwood Forest Resort with security gates that are locked at night and security cameras on the gates. A security camera is located near the entry door on the deck of the cabin. This is a neighborhood-style community (not secluded).
• *starter* set of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dishwasher soap, washing machine soap provided.
• The cabin: ”Mountain Wonder" will have you wondering why you went on vacation anywhere else with endless breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains. Who could go wrong there? This was an absolutely amazing cabin! The property is exactly like listed. Super easy access to the Parkway! Would definitely rent again.

Absolutely beautiful view!! The cabin was clean and smelled like a fresh wood cabin (such a good smell!). The area was great. We bounced between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Easy quick drive to Gatlinburg. Lots of trails to drive down. We saw one bear, in Gatlinburg, which we were really hoping for!! None by the cabin that we saw. My one slight disappointment was the game room. The pool table on one side has about 2-3 feet between the pool table and the window. So it was nearly impossible to shoot from one end of the table. They have a short stick(assuming because this situation) but it still was not enough. It didn’t wreck the stay at all. I just wanted to play longer while it was raining and we just got annoyed. That is literally my only complaint and it is quite a small one.We definitely will be coming back for sure!!

We have stayed in many cabins in the Smokies for the past t25 years, so I can't say we were overly impressed with the cabin, but we were very pleased. We have stayed in great cabins and not so great cabins, and this one would be considered very good and what we needed. It served its purpose, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with all equipment needed. I just always encourage people to be sure to take extra toilet paper even on the first day since the starter rolls may not be enough, especially if you arrive late and plan to go shopping the next day. Very comfortable, cozy, clean, not too far from Pigeon Forge and no scary" steep roads to navigate. Highly recommend. Two couples stayed,, and with the bedrooms being on separate levels, there was plenty of privacy.

No instructions on using the television. 1st night couldn't figure out how to get local stations and national news. No DVD player and I had brought 10 DVD's to watch. Almost not water pressure.
