Heerlijk weekje vakantie gehad in Montignac. Mooie ruime villa waar het aan weinig ontbreekt. Bedden waren opgemaakt en het huis was schoon en fris toen wij introkken. Hartelijke ontvangst door de eigenaar en een rondleiding gekregen. Heerlijk terras waar opa & oma heerlijk konden toekijken hoe de rest van de familie in het zwembad lag. Deze is niet 'actief' verwarmd, maar met een soort kas die er overheen wordt getrokken, en dan hopen dat de zon haar aandeel ook doet. Voor ons was het water van prima temperatuur en dus hebben we heerlijk kunnen zwemmen. De villa is ook ruim genoeg om elkaar niet in de weg te lopen of over de spullen te struikelen. De keuken biedt alle mogelijkheden om zelf te koken, en in de bijkeuken is een wasmachine en een droger. Het dorpje ligt op een klein stukje lopen, de terugweg moet de kinderwagen wel iets harder geduwd worden :) . Een supermarkt is ook vrij snel aan te rijden. Nee al met al een heerlijk verblijf. De villa is elke euro waard.

Voor mezelf een unieke ervaring, daar we meestal een All-in vakantie deden en voor de eerste keer een huisje huurden. Bij aankomst kregen we een hartverwarmende verwelkoming en duidelijke rondleiding door de eigenaar.s, Toby en Sophie, die hun prachtige huis ter beschikking stellen. Als geschenk kregen we ook 2 flessen wijn aangeboden. Wij vonden het huis ruim en zeer open! De slaapkamers zijn voorzien van ventilatoren wat het aangenamer slapen maakt ( Geen airco, wat nog meer een pluspunt zou zijn gezien de hitte ). De ruime keuken is uitstekend uitgerust. Voorzien van een oven, microgolf, koffiezet, waterkoker, broodrooster, .. met ook voldoende keukengerei ter beschikking. Het huis is ook voorzien van 2 badkamers ( 1 ensuite ) alsook 2 aparte toiletten. Er is een ruim overdekt terras waar je de hele dag van schaduw kan genieten. In de ochtend heb je er wel zon, wat het aangenaam ontbijten maakt. Vanop het terras heb je zicht op de tuin met verwarmd zwembad. Het zwembad is top onderhouden wat voor een uitstekend afkoeling zorgt tijdens de warme temperaturen ( wel niet rechtstreeks aan het huisje, eerst trappen af en 20 meter richting zwembad ). Dien je rekening mee te houden indien je nog kinderen hebt die middagdutjes doen of eens iets te drinken wil nemen. Er zijn 6 ligbedden en 2 parasols ( een plus zou extra bedden zijn gezien het aantal personen ). Op wandelafstand heb je het pittoreske dorpje Montignac, met een bakker, beenhouwer, restaurantjes, ijsbar, ... Tijdens de maanden juli en augustus zijn er ook vele festiviteiten voorzien ! Zeer gezellig ! Met de auto kan je tot aan de intermarche rijden op nog geen 5 minuten. Kortom, wij hebben genoten met 6 volwassen en 2 kinderen van een aangename vakantie in het levendige Montignac ! Bedankt !

Heel leuk verblijf gehad! Alles perfect in orde. Enige minpunt was dat er slechts 6 ligbedden waren aan het zwembad voor een huisje van 9pers. Aanrader!
