Summary:
Welcome to Williamstown Lake! This stunning 3-story lakefront home has 4 bedrooms (two primary suites, two bunk rooms), 3.5 baths, and two living rooms. Upper and lower decks and a boat dock overlook the water, and the hot tub awaits. Just a few miles to the Ark Encounter and Downtown Williamstown!

The Space:
When you enter this gorgeous home you will be greeted by a lovely kitchen, and a living room with access to the outdoor balcony with seating and a small gas fire pit. On the main floor you'll also find the half bath and the first of the two primary king bed suites, complete with a gorgeous bathroom and walk-in closet. The second primary suite is up the stairs with another beautiful bathroom and spacious walk-in, as well as a stunning view through the picture window, overlooking the lake. In the lower level a cozy living area awaits, with a tv and access to the lower outdoor deck seating area and fire pit. You'll also find the laundry room and another full bathroom, as well as two rooms with bunk beds, totaling 4 twin and 3 full beds!
This spacious and gorgeous home is the perfect getaway for groups looking to spend some time at the lake, or visit the ark Encounter, or explore everything that the Williamstown area has to offer!
Note that the driveway is very steep as the house is built on the banks of the lake. Be cautious when entering and exiting.
Also note that portions of the road to the house, around the lake, are not very well-maintained by the city as it is in a remote location, so drive slowly and safely, and preload driving directions due to the low cell service in that area.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire home. Entry is through the front door using a unique key code. Access to the home is limited to registered guests only—any visitors must be approved by the host and may not stay overnight.
Parking is on the sloped slab up from the house. Be cautious during icy weather when parking on the slope.
We require all guests to sign our rental agreement and provide photo ID via the digital form before check-in instructions will be sent. Check-in info is sent 5 days prior to check-in, assuming completion of the rental agreement.

This gorgeous home is located on the banks of Williamstown Lake, a miles from, downtown Williamstown and the popular Ark Encounter attraction!
Getting Around:
Driving a rental or personal vehicle is your best bet in this beautiful rural setting.

Our family absolutely loved our stay! Traveling with a group that included both young children and older family members can be challenging, but this property was perfect. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and the layout gave our older guests the privacy and comfort they appreciated while still having great spaces for the kids to play.Everything was exactly as described in the listing, and the hosts thought of everything. We spent hours swimming in the lake and had so much fun using the provided lake toys. In the evenings, relaxing in the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day of adventures.We traveled from Atlanta, Georgia, to visit the Ark Encounter, and the location couldn’t have been better. It was even close enough that we took a spontaneous trip to Cincinnati, Ohio, for dinner one evening just for fun!This was truly a place our entire family enjoyed, from the youngest to the oldest. We’re already talking about bringing even more family members back for another stay. Highly recommend!

This is a great place and the lake is so quiet, pretty, and family oriented. I would say the only downfall is the steep drive way and it was steep to walk to the water. The house was fantastic and they provided us with plenty of starter items that we didn’t need to go out and buy more. I highly recommend!

It is a beautiful property overall, well-equipped and decorated, and the service was great. The view of the lake was amazing, beautiful, and entertaining. Our challenge that there was no cell service on the property, and we couldn't find the door code as it wasn't available until the day of our arrival when we were busy travelling. We couldn't access internet or call to get help because there was no cell service. So we had to drive off property and reach out to VRBO customer service.The host was available and solved our problem promptly. Maybe a booster, or give the wifi code with the check-in instructions so at least internet can be accessed. Also, since the door code is changed with each guest (it was the last 4 of my cell phone) go ahead and give it with initial instructions.Another challenge is that the bathrooms were lacking blinds on the windows and it was quite the fish bowl experience, especially the upstairs shower.Last, the upstairs room was too hot and the basement was freezing - multi-zone thermostats maybe?
