Sesimbra: Apartment "Bela vista"
Nice apartment: 2 rooms of 45m² with a terrace (9m²) offering a panoramic view of the sea. Overlooking the city, it is only 1500 m from the large beach of Sesimbra and 1000 m from all its shops, markets (fish, local fruits and vegetables etc.), restaurants and panadéria.
3rd floor with elevator.
Residence with free parking.
Terrace (9m²) with a high bar, high chairs and Chilean.
Linen (bedding and towels) provided.
Fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, microwave, oven, washing machine, coffee machine, dishes)
Bathroom with bath and toilet.

The room was nice.
However, the building is a construction site, so there is constant noise and accompanying mess. The foyer smells of sewer.
The elevators are unreliable and a bit dodgy.
The power was out on one occasion during construction, so no elevators or air conditioning at all.
We arrived to find ONE towel each, and no way to wash them, for an 8 day stay. No beach towel, nothing.
Next, we rented this place largely based on the fact it had laundry in the apartment. Got there and it was broken. We were given a one word answer,sorry, and directed to a laundromat. It cost us 50 euros to do our wash at laundromat!! 5 of our 8 day stay we had no laundry service. On 6 th day we came home to find a new machine being installed, without notice, despite being told we wanted a time given when that would happen.
The fridge is very small, and despite having a freezer compartment, it would not freeze a tray of ice in the 8 days we were there.
The owner needs to be a bit more transparent about the noise and mess, as the construction will be ongoing. As well, the building 50 feet in front is undergoing repairs as well. Large trucks delivering supplies, generators and loud tools were being run all day.
There is no safe or easy way to walk to the town. Vehicle ABSOLUTELY necessary.
Personally we would give this rental a miss next time,
The manager was not helpful, did not respond to calls in a timely fashion. No thanks, not for us.
