Set in the beautiful historic town of Grand Coteau, this is the perfect place for your next getaway. You are secluded in a serene location but only a short drive away from some of the most famous Cajun Cuisines and popular shops in the area. Our home is guaranteed to promise an unforgettable stay!
Guests will have full access and use of the unit 24 hours a day. You can come and go as you like and there`s an electronic lock, so there are no keys to keep up with! It`s likely you won`t see me during your stay, which allows you more privacy and convenience. However, I am here anytime you need to reach out. This was our 2nd stay at this property and we will stay again so that should speak for itself. It's not perfect but it absolutely meets all our needs. It's very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is being updated as houses are being turned over and renovated but we felt completely safe. It's very quiet and peaceful. The location works very well for us to visit family in Lafayette and Opelousas. Beds are very comfortable. The full kitchen is decently stocked. Cabinets and drawers are original and homemade but functional. Local water is sulphury so we use bottled water for drinking. The tub/shower arrangement is not ideal due to the window location and the shower curtains puddle in the bottom of the tub. A/C works great! Parking area and access ways flood temporarily after a very heavy rain. Having a washer & dryer is wonderful! We met the owner this time and he was very nice. We rented it for 12 days this time, We'll be back!
