About this apartment rental
Property restored in May 2013 in the city center (downtown) in historic district next to the Bica elevator that gives access to Bairro Alto / Chiado and close to the Ribeira Market and the Metro station, Train, Bus and Ferrys.
The apartment is well furnished, has a good solar luminosity and a nice view to the Tagus River. It is equipped with TV, MP3 / CD / radio stereo and Wi-Fi internet.
The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, crockery and kitchenware.

We had a wonderful time in Lisboa. The apartment is near to the metro-station, the Tejo, the city, the tram No.28 and much more.
All we needed, was in the apartment.
Just one kind we didn't like, the apartment is poorly soundproofed.You hear very much from the other familys in the house.

What a beautiful place! The photos really don't do it justice, we fell in love with apartment as soon as we walked in. The view from the balcony was amazing and it was located at walking distance to pretty much all the cool bars and restaurants in Bairro Alto. We will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic 5 night stay in Lisbon and the apartment mostly met our needs as a family of 5 with 3 school age children. Great location close to Cais do Sodre and Time Out Market, next to Elevador de Bica and within walking distance of many bars and restaurants. Two small supermarkets close by as well to get essentials from. Excellent comms from Miguel throughout and it was lovely to be met by Maria with a plate of fresh strawberries and decanter of port.
On the downside, the beds were seriously uncomfortable - like sleeping on bare springs. Mattresses definitely need replacing. General dampness in the air also which triggered my asthma. There was no bottle opener, which is an absolute basic requirement and very annoying to discover there wasn't one. And as previous reviewers have mentioned, you can hear every single movement from the flat above, which in our case started at 6am most days. So not perfect by any means, but good value and a good option for families.
