About this house rental
A family home built in the 19th century, most likely to accommodate the raftsmen who worked on the Ciron River, and renovated and expanded in 1973. It offers the unique advantage of being situated between nature and the village. You can enjoy the coolness of our historic homes, marvel at a sunset over the forest while dining, or find yourself listening to the quiet sounds of nature. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the village, where you can do your shopping, dine at a restaurant, visit the stationery store, the cheese shop, the butcher, the beauty salon, or the market on Thursday mornings....
It lies at the heart of our region’s history: the castles of Villandraut, Cazeneuve, and Roquetaillade; the medieval town of Bazas with its Saturday morning market; Saint-Macaire; the collegiate church of Uzeste; and the Sauternes region with its châteaux…
It’s also at the heart of many activities: canoeing and kayaking on the Ciron River, bike trails, hiking, Roi Kysmar, fishing, hunting, a stadium, a municipal swimming pool with a lifeguard (admission: €2.50 per adult, €1.50 per child, free for children under 3), the Marquèze Ecomuseum...
A 55 m² two-bedroom house with a garden. Living room with a 130×190 sofa bed and satellite TV, kitchen, bathroom, toilet, 1 bedroom with a 140×190 bed, 1 bedroom with 2 70×190 beds that can be separated for two children or pushed together for a couple. Parking.
Fully equipped: dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, stovetop, oven, microwave. Parking available for multiple vehicles.
Non-smoking inside the cottage; nightly rentals available upon request. We live in the adjoining house. The two properties are completely independent of each other and separated by a hedge.
