Summary:
Enjoy the unique mid-century style of our spacious home, perfect for a comfortable and convenient stay. Located in a quiet residential area, it has three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and can host up to 18 guests. Highlights include inlaid lighting, oak cabinets, a decorative fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and a hot tub and a seasonal pool. Ideal for family and friends looking for a reliable stay! The Space:
Our pool is closed for the season. It will be noted here when it reopens in the Summer of 2026.
Guests will enter the house through a digital keypad. Once you step inside, you will be welcomed by a decorative fireplace and a massive comfortable seating area. Walk straight, and you will reach our finished kitchen and dining area with complete amenities. Off the kitchen is our laundry area and a bathroom which has access to the hot tub. Behind the fireplace wall near the front entrance, you will see a relaxing living room with a sliding door view from the outside. One large bedroom is on the main level near the staircase with two queen beds and two double beds, and the two bedrooms and a full bathroom are upstairs.
NOTE: we have weekly maintenance and cleaning performed on our pool. The pool services do not take long and will not disrupt your stay. We will need access to the yard/pool area if you stay with us on service day. Thanks for understanding!

The house has a digital keypad at the front door which will provide you access to the house. The code will be provided upon check-in. You will have full and private access to the home.
The Neighborhood:
This house is located in a residential area in midtown with easy access to major highways, interstates, and supermarkets. Only a couple minutes drive to USA Health Children's & Women's Hospital and Tricentennial Park!
Getting Around:
Uber, Lyft, and other Taxi available, but driving is encouraged!

We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 21 years of age to book.
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Retro Retreat! Our team was in town for a tennis tournament, and this charming home was the perfect base for our weekend getaway. The spacious rooms comfortably accommodated all eleven of us, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy their stay.
One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub, which quickly became a cherished morning routine. Soaking in it while sipping coffee was a delightful way to start each day. The retro decor added a unique charm that made our experience even more memorable.
With its convenient location and inviting atmosphere, we would definitely choose to stay here again!

First, the positives! Great location within 5 minutes walking distance to the hospital. Quiet neighborhood. Spacious home. Communication was excellent! The kitchen was updated with plenty of dishes, silverware, etc…Towels were plenty. Linens clean and beds comfy. However, the home is quite old (1959) and the furnace was struggling with the house registering at 62 in the mornings and we were told, “well it is an old furnace”. Hot water in the downstairs bath was challenging as the faucet in the shower was in desperate need of replacing. The hot tub needed to have its breaker flipped multiple times before we could get it to work which detracted from the relaxing atmosphere. For the three tvs in the home, only ONE remote was available, so we played, “where’s the remote”.If you just need a bed and a kinda hot shower with the hospital close by…this is for you. Don’t count on the amenities. But the AC was spot on! And the hosts, super responsive.
