About this apartment rental
Beautiful apartment located on the top floor (without elevator) in the picturesque district of Kalsa, a stone's throw from the botanical garden and Piazza Kalsa.
From the entrance door you enter the large and super-equipped kitchen, which also features a snack counter and a dishwasher. The kitchen is separated from the living room by a sliding door.
In the living room, furnished in bright colors, you will find a sofa bed, TV and table; from the kitchen, two steps lead to the bedroom on the right, furnished with a French bed, wardrobe and TV. On the left is the bathroom with shower. A wall closet located between the bathroom and the bedroom hides the washing machine. From the kitchen, a spiral staircase leads to the upper level, which features an air-conditioned attic with a French bed, reaching a maximum height of 2m and a minimum height of 1.60m. From here guests can also access the terrace, from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of Piazza Kalsa and from which you can also see the sea on one side and the church of Spasimo on the other. The terrace is equipped for your relaxation: here you will find tables and chairs as well as an outdoor kitchen with induction hob.

Palermo, one of the most beautiful cities of art in the country and the capital of Sicily, offers plenty of wonderful UNESCO heritage sites that can be visited in the four historic districts of the city. In this regard, tourists can take part in the "Baroque itinerary of Palermo' to visit the main monuments of the city, such as the Church of the Holy Savior, the Church of Santa Maria del Monte Oliveto and the Church of the Conception. The city also offers the opportunity to participate in the "Tour of the Historical Markets of Palermo' which will allow guests to explore the markets of Ballarò and Capo. It doesn’t matter if it’s lunch or snack time, it is strictly required to taste the dishes with your hands only! This tour will also give tourists the opportunity to admire prominent buildings, streets and squares.
Our apartment is less than 15 minutes walking distance from the main railway station, also bus stop for the airport shuttle.

Everything you require to live in Quartiere Kalsa is right at your doorstep from this rental property - all the food of Sicily, great Panificio with daily bread next door, mini mart, green grocer, restaurants from street food to fine dining within blocks and more than 2 dozen tourist spots within a short walk, almost all of historic Palermo within walking distance. Terrace is remarkable and the views lovely. Caveats - It's 4 floors up a narrow staircase, so control your packing and smaller luggage is advised, and you are in a neighbourhood, so car and bike noise, neighbours yelling, bar music, etc on top of the fireworks from teh port, boat horns, cats in heat, dogs barking and regular life everywhere. Bed is a French bed, so more narrow than NA queen sized. Pay attention to the power situation. But Wonderful Italy are very communicative and responsive so help is there. Garbage situation is tricky in this neighbourhood, hours are Mediterranean so afternoon closures and sunday erratic. Big supermarket Famila within walking distance is all day, everyday however. Manual for this property needs an update - Grocery is not Carrefour now, but Famila, garbage schedule is incorrect. Apartment has been well used, practical, but not luxurious, and some elements (bedding, cleaning items e.g. broom, very scratched kitchen ware could be updated at not a great cost). A great rental however.

The only thing here is that it was a more run down area but everything was close by. Had amazing food and amazing sites.
