In Grèzes, Lozère, the La Bergerie vacation rental accommodates 2 to 4 people in a quiet 50-square-meter home featuring a bathroom, kitchen, spacious living room, and a separate bedroom. The location of this small hilltop village is ideal for exploring all the treasures of the department.
Rising to 1,008 meters, the Truc de Grèzes is home, at the foot of its cliffs, to a small village steeped in history from the Neolithic era to the present day. Built of dry-stone limestone, this former sheepfold is a warm and inviting place offering peace and tranquility overlooking the Jourdane Valley and its forests. Our guesthouse, La Bergerie, accommodates 2 to 4 people in a 50-square-meter space featuring a bathroom, kitchen, spacious living room, and a separate bedroom.
Nature is ever-present on this Natura 2000-designated site. Located 10 minutes from Marvejols and 20 minutes from Mende, Grèzes is the perfect base for exploring the rich diversity of the Aubrac region, from the Margeride to Mont-Lozère, from the Cévennes to the Grands Causses, and from the winding Gorges du Tarn.
Whether you’re a curious traveler, hiker, cyclist, or motorcyclist—whether you’re traveling with family, as a couple, or with friends—we’ll be delighted to welcome you and help you discover local delicacies, traditional heritage sites (fountains, communal ovens…), short hikes and the GR Urbain V trail passing through the village, as well as the cultural and sporting events taking place throughout the seasons… There’s something for everyone!
We provide everything you need for your first breakfast (fresh bread from the bakery or milk rolls, jam, milk, coffee, and tea). For hikers, we can provide a “hiker’s meal” upon request. There are no shops in the village.

There is a shelter available for bikes and motorcycles.
A washing machine and dryer are available upon request for stays of at least one week.
A travel crib with a mattress and a high chair are provided free of charge upon request.
Cell phone reception is limited in the village of Grèzes.
(Reception varies depending on the carrier and your location within the village.)
However, phones equipped with Wi-Fi calling can receive calls and text messages at the cottage by connecting to the Livebox.
