Quiet location features large private view deck and renovated interior. Doesn't get any better.
Large private condominium apartment at the resort condominium complex on the beach in sunny Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. 1 bedroom with private attached bathroom. 2nd bathroom down the hall with shower, large living area, dining area, kitchen with breakfast bar. Full size appliances including air conditioning and washer dryer. Beach chairs, pool /beach towels are provided. Really, just hit the grocery store and you are set for the week!

The Maui Sunset is located on over 5 acres of oceanfront at Kihei which is considered one of the best locations on the Valley Isle. Kihei is noted for its year-round sunshine, balmy trade winds, and soothing evening air. It is one of the driest and sunniest areas on the entire island, averaging only 10 inches a year! World famous swimming and snorkeling beaches are minutes away at one of the many sandy safe beaches at Kihei and nearby Wailea. Just a short distance (6 miles) from five championship 18 hole resort golf courses at Wailea and Makena. The two buildings frame and protect a large recreational area that is carefully attended and landscaped. The 60 foot swimming pool with its broad decks and abundance of pool furniture invites you to improve on your tan.

Location wasn’t too bad, not as walkable as some other parts of Kihei. Beach was walkable, water was mostly shallow reef, lots of turtles! Street noise in unit was a loud ( more car noise than ocean). Space fora few people with the twin Murphy bed and pull out couch. Courtyard grills were fun to make meals and bring back to the patio. Only unfortunate part of the unit was that the AC was on a limited timer and would shut off in the middle of the night, get uncomfortable, you have to get up after 4hrs to turn it back on :/

This being the fourth time coming to the Maui Sunset. We were not disappointed the property is as listed and is always clean and well-maintained. If you have any questions the manager is quick to respond. WE would recommend the Maui Sunset to our friends and relatives. We liked to walk down to the ocean, sit watching the waves come in and watch the beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed going to the many beautiful areas on Maui. We went to the Outback Steak House for our 61 first Anniversary, We enjoy doing most of our own cooking.

The grounds and living areas very well maintained and supplied except for bad air conditioners. We were there during the hurricane which put a damper on things. The beach is too rocky to swim in which was disappointing. Staff was very nice. Hawaii has become too expensive for both residents and visitors.
