Casa Cordovil Evora

My family absolutely loved staying in Casa Cordovil! Susana was a great host; she was communicative and amenable to our travel plans. She met us when we arrived and explained everything about the house, parking, and local attractions to us. The house itself is spectacular - like living in a modern yet historic upstairs castle. The small details or artwork and local flavor fully add to the Évora experience. Plenty of room to spread out or enjoy time together with friends/family. Washing machine, kitchen, and wifi/smart TV all worked great. A/C in bedrooms and main room was very nice. This is truly the perfect home base to enjoy and relax while also exploring Évora, as it is very walkable to local highlights (Chapel of Bones, Cathedral) and delicious restaurants (eg Páteo). Great views of beautiful historic buildings from literally every window! We also had the bonus of a cafe opening up a few weeks before we arrived underneath the house. The owner was super welcoming and served great drinks, coffee, and light bites. Noise was never a problem. Highly recommend for an authentic yet luxurious Évora experience!!

Beautiful apartment - one of the best places we've ever stayed.

Amazing stay! This is a magical place in the center of Evora. It is beautifully designed and spacious inside. Our family of four felt very comfortable and hope to come back in warmer months to enjoy the incredible rooftop terrace. Susana is a warm and responsive host. Don’t make Evora a day trip from Lisbon — stay here for 2 nights!
