Our guests have access to our private beach, play toys, fire pit, outdoor shower, and grill. The neighbors beaches are also private, so please do not pick up or harvest any items from their private beach. Guests can walk for miles along the road in either direction from the cabin. If you head north about a quarter mile you'll come to a public park where you can walk all you want along the beach. You can cross the river and head up into the woods for a more challenging hike with incredible views.
I will not be present during my guest's stay. I live less than 2 hours away and can be available if needed. I do have a wonderful contractor & housekeeper who live in the area who are available to come if needed for emergencies.
This cabin has been in my family for 80 years and I LOVE it! I grew up coming to the cabin, and it has been my pleasure restoring it and bringing it to its current magical condition. This cabin has everything you need. I was there in a rain storm for two nights and three days and it was king tide so the water was all the way to the bulkhead. It was absolutely wonderful to be safe and warm and tucked in so I could read, write and just watch the ocean. I have wanted to be in this cabin since I was a kid and it was a dream come true. This was THE best, most romantic getaway ever! The host was incredibly communicative, even let us show up early with no extra charge. Her instructions were clear. She had many things for us to use, and the heated floors were amazing! I would definitely stay out here again. We had an incredible view of the lake and the seals! I’m jealous of the people who get to live here full time. This was a honeymoon to never forget! 100/10!

Communication with Susan was great. We enjoyed watching the sea life during our stormy stay. The cabin is situated near the sea wall. The water was at or near it while we were there so the otter, seal and many water fowl were quite close in. All of our creature comforts were met in this well supplied place. If you like older well kept lodging with loads of character then this IS for you!

We loved our weekend getaway here! Very cozy, the location is amazing. It’s obvious that a lot of love and care has been put into this cabin. We would absolutely stay here again.
