We absolutely loved our stay at Sunny Oaks Retreat! The outdoor space was nothing short of magnificent — from the comfortable seating areas to the relaxing hot tub, it was the perfect spot for morning coffee or late-night conversation. The house itself was spacious and beautifully designed, giving each of us our own private area while still feeling cozy and connected.
The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking and gathering, and the arrival instructions were precise and easy to follow. One of the biggest perks was having no checkout chores! Of course, we did the respectful things like taking out the trash and placing towels in the laundry room, but it was such a treat to simply pack up and go without a long list of tasks.
There were eight of us in total, and both the indoor and outdoor spaces were absolutely perfect for our group. We couldn't have asked for a better place to relax, reconnect, and enjoy Fredericksburg. Highly recommend Sunny Oaks Retreat — we can't wait to come back!

Amazing property! Pool was great and the yard was very dog friendly. The house is gorgeous and comfortable. We really enjoyed our visit and hope to return in the future.

Fantastic house for a large group. Plenty of space for 8 - w/o sharing beds or anyone being on the couch. Kitchen was a great layout and had everything we needed to prepare several meals. All seating areas were perfect for a large group to all be together. Outdoor living/kitchen area was our favorite for coffee in the morning. The pool was a total plus for us. And the hummingbirds were a lovely addition to our time outside.
