This spectacular, one-of-a-kind, Penthouse condo featured in Mountain Living Magazine, is located in the highly sought after Hayden Lodge. The unit was completely remodeled with designer finishes in December, 2021. The Hayden Lodge is just 28 steps from the Village Express High Speed 6 person Chairlift, and a short stroll to the Gondola. Need to drop off the kiddos at the Treehouse/Snowmass Ski School or summer camp? No problem...it's right downstairs! Say goodbye and watch them ski off, while you sip coffee on the balcony and marvel at the unobstructed mountain views! The condo features a beautiful, custom floor to ceiling linear gas fireplace, 55" Smart TV in the main living area, unique in-wall 8 boot ski dryer, individual cubbies for each guest, fully stocked kitchen, in-unit washer/dryer, and multiple USB/USC charging outlets throughout. The Primary Suite features a king bed, walk-in closet with built-ins, and an extra monitor, keyboard, and desk if you have to keep up with work during vacation. The private primary suite bath includes a jetted tub to relax after a day on the mountain. The guest Primary Suite features a king bed and private full bath. The third bedroom includes a full-over-full bunkbed, private electronic charging stations, and fun bean bag chairs to kick back and unwind. First the good - the location of this unit could not be better. Walk out your door and be at ski school dropoff and the lifts in 3 minutes. The unit is renovated as reflected in the pictures and the boot dryer is a cool touch.At this price point however I would expect 1) that the appliances would all be in good working order - the ice machine and water dispenser in the fridge was completely nonfunctional and the dishwasher was 50/50. 2) the shower heads in the unit have the worst water pressure I’ve ever experienced. After a long day on the mountain, a hot shower with solid pressure is a real treat and the pressure here is dismal. 3) cleanliness - the unit smelled upon entry and remained that way most of our stay. We had to leave all the windows open to keep it at bay. The linens and blankets felt dingy and dirty - really not acceptable at nearly 5k/night. Each unit should be quality checked for function and cleanliness prior to arrival. I didnt report any of this during my stay because I didn’t want to spend my vacation time waiting on maintenance folks. With proper maintenance and property management this would easily be a 10 out of 10.
