This unique property provided a whimsical and meaningful getaway for my 80 year old mother and me, celebrating her birthday and Mother’s Day. Plenty of space, amenities are nice, and it’s just so darn charming.

My friend and I (both in our 70's) were so excited about our stay at the Shoe House, and it did not disappoint! We loved the game room, complete with a kitchenette. It was as fun and quirky as you might expect. It's a little pricey, but it is an historical site and something you won't find anywhere else. Totally worth it! the Shoe House!

This was the perfect place to celebrate my mom’s 90th birthday, as she collects Knick knack shoes for over 60 years. We had a great time!

If we could give higher than a 5, we would. We are a party of six who have traveled together for more than a few years and we all rated this stay as our most memorable!! The beds were comfortable, the rooms were very clean, the kitchen is small but it is an absolutely grand room. The kitchen is very well stocked and the decor is absolutely beautiful. The memories this place evoked are so entertaining. Please stay - you will never regret one moment of staying in this wonderful getaway. The host is excellent - very kind, very responsive - what a joy!!!!!!
