The property was exactly as advertised. We were a party of 10 adults and thoroughly enjoyed the amenities of the house. Each bedroom is spacious, has its own bathroom and its own air conditioner unit. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and the dining area and main living area was large enough to accommodate our large group. The pool is a lounge pool so it is only about 4 feet deep at the deepest part, but we brought some inflatable pool noodles which were a big hit and perfect to just hang out in that area. The backyard is really beautiful and has a nice view of the ocean. Hope was extremely communicative and responsive when we encountered a few minor issues. We would definitely stay here again.

Casa Elena was THE PERFECT place to stay. Beautiful view and so convenient to the golf course as well as places to shop and eat. The host was wonderful in communicating with me and we would love to stay there again in the future!

We visited Casa Elena for an extended stay with multiple groups of family and friends. The home is a large, older traditional Mexican home that is well maintained in the beautiful Fundadores neighborhood in Puerto Los Cabos. The hot tub and pool operated perfectly, something which does not always occur in Mexican rentals. As mentioned in the description, it is a lounging pool, and even our grandchildren had a great time in it. The housekeeper, Leydi, is very thorough and proactive, she handled all our needs. Her English is the same as my Spanish, almost non-existent, but the I Phone translation app took care of that. The home is located on the East side of San Jose, so the ongoing roundabout construction did not hamper our fun. We could get in to downtown San Jose without having to fight the traffic. Restaurants near the home include Ballena, Acre, Vera Neo, Drunken Sailor, Flora Farms, and La Lupita. We plan to return!

Our extended family had a wonderful week at Casa Elena. It is a magnificent house, large with an old-world Spanish hacienda feel. The five bedrooms are large and comfortably furnished, each with its own large bath. The pool, with its extended shallow end was perfect for the grandkids. We used the beach club almost every day - it has a very good restaurant (with very good live music several nights and pool service all day), a fitness center and an infinity pool. Neither the pool nor beach were crowded. The town of San Jose del Cabo is charming, with excellent restaurants and just a short drive away. I recommend renting a golf cart for your stay - a very pleasant way to get around the community and to the beach club (though it’s also a nice walk to the club) and a lot of fun for the kids. I recommend this home for groups and for extended families. It was also a treat to be able to bring ourSmall dog with us. He was welcome at the beach club and almost everywhere we went. Also, Hope and her on-site manager, Hugo, were very responsive to any questions. They were both very helpful. A great week for our family of seven!Kim White
