This is a real gem!! Cozy and comfortable retreat on a private lot.
Come enjoy the view from the second level terrace, which looks out over the Northumberland Strait. The Fire pit is perfect for gathering around and roasting marshmallows.
Complete with a fully-equipped kitchen, it is Ideal for family and friends.

The stairs going to the water are available to use to get down to the beach.

We selected this cottage for its beautiful location and awesome photos depicting a very amiable and comfortable look. Photos however never tell the true story. I will start with the PROS:
Location and vista are absolutely amazing.
Kitchen is well equipped and as a chef I was pleased with all equipment and variety as well.
All appliances worked well.
CONS:
Great room has a wall of windows in front. 4 can be opened to let in the beautiful sea air however 3 of the 4 were broken and could not be opened. Additionally, they were filthy. You had a very cloudy view of the magnificent water! We would have cleaned ourselves but alas, no Windex..,.no wonder the host never gets them cleaned.
The great room couch was ripped in 2 places, and it was so old that you practically sunk to the floor when you sit on it. I only way 160 lbs so not a weight issue.
The downstairs shower head is so old it is caked with green mold and the water stream is weak. YUK! $100 can easily fix that.
Upstairs bathroom only has a jacuzzi. Pretty tough to shower in a jacuzzi! Yes, it had a pull-out shower head that worked well but it was awkward to climb in and out on the 2 steps of slippery tiles...no safety grab bars! Slippery because there was no curtain to stop the water
from spraying onto the steps making them treacherous.
Beds - Main front bedroom extremely soft old mattress which is not good for a tender back. Twins in the other room were better but not stellar. Downstairs was old and soft too.
