Villa Cerca del Mar #6 has a great location, just a short walk across the street to reach the beautiful Langosta Beach, and an easy walk to the famous Tamarindo area, which is full of shopping and eating options
The Space:
Close to all the action yet far enough to offer you the quiet you need this two stories vacation rental for up to 6 people, has a great location if you are looking for beach, fun, and relaxation. Located as short as a 2-minute walk to Langosta beach, with the surf break only about a 5 to 6-minute walk down the shore!!
In Villa Cerca del Mar, you will find 3 bedrooms, all of them with top-of-the-line lines and mattresses, A/C, ceiling fans, a closet, and a private bathroom, also with lots of natural light. The first room is on the main floor and has a queen-size bed. The second and third bedrooms are located on the second floor. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the third has a king-size bed. Need a travel crib? No problem! Just reach out our concierge team to arrange one. Keep in mind they are subjected to availability and have an additional charge.
There is free high-speed fiber optic internet with 100mbps and signal extenders in every room to provide full coverage around the property, so you don't miss a thing. There is a 55” smart TV in the living/dining area, a 30” Chromecast enabled TV in the downstairs bedroom, and a 43” smart TV in the upstairs bedroom. You will have access to a private outdoor and spacious terrace with a BBQ grill and a private pool and also a fountain so you can relax at the sound of the dripping water. For your convenience, you'll find an inside utility room with a washer/dryer. There is free and secure parking directly outside the house.
The kitchen features wooden cabinets, concrete countertops, and stainless steel appliances, including a coffee maker, toaster oven, blender, and all utensils and cooking supplies. As a guest of this property, we also include complimentary amenities such as basic spices, salt, pepper, cooking oil, and shampoo/soaps. The condo is FULLY stocked with other bonus items for your personal use such as beach towels, folding beach chairs, a cooler, and more!!!
Everyone can feel extra relaxed knowing the homeowners have installed a camera up above the main entrance, providing a clear view of the front entrance of the house.
In order to maintain the security that everyone deserves, it is necessary to present the identification of the person who made the reservation at the time of check-in. We greatly appreciate your support.

Villa Cerca Del Mar was perfect for our stay. It's spacious, everyone had their own bedroom and bath, and the pool was so refreshing! Nice, quiet location.

Pre-arrival, the communication with Olber and his team was great and helpful. We were sent all the information on getting into the house and directions. We arrived at the house and got in easily. The house was clear and very well appointed. Except there was no water in the house at all! We talked to one of the neighbors who said that this was not unusual that the water "runs out" and the city needs to come and refill the water reservoir, but that only last for 2-3 days. There's a reserve tank for the house, but that was empty as well. We immediately contacted the emergency number and were told that they would reach out to get water delivered. After several hours, still no water.
The property management company offered to move us to another condo in Tamarindo which was not as good of location, but at that point, we were ready to do anything. We packed up and went over there, only to find out that that condo had not been cleaned from the previous travelers. So back to the Villa we went because it was at least clean.
With no water still the following morning, we discussed with the property management company and moved to another location near Playa Flamingo (VRBO #2810885) which worked out well and was very nice.
It's a shame because Villa Cerca del Mar is a very nice house - can walk across to Playa Langosta and less than a mile to the shops/restaurants of Tamarindo. It would be a great place to stay if the water situation is fixed.
