In 2020 -2022, we installed new flooring in the bedrooms and the library: The second and third bedrooms have been completely refurnished, creating a new comfort zone with this modern decor. The twin beds are equipped with USB ports to cater specifically to our younger guests. We’ve furnished our small library with a reading nook, and there’s also a desk available.
To further enhance the existing comfort, we’ve renovated the terrace and the pool. Dive into the fresh, azure-blue water and enjoy hours on the new lanai, which has been lovingly paved with the highest-quality natural stone. Beautiful property, exceptionally clean, and very spacious. The owners have provided everything you could possibly need for your stay. By far this has been our most favorite place we have stayed. Two things that would have improved the stay:1. A warmer pool (but it IS April, so I get it)2. EV charging - all of the rentals at RSW were EVs and it was a real pain finding and waiting for the car to charge. I’d pay an extra fee to have the convenience of charging at the house. For the benefit of other travelers, if you’re looking for a BEACH getaway, this property probably isn’t for you, it’s at least a 45 minute drive to FMB or Sanibel. BUT, if you’re wanting to just relax and unwind in SW Florida, do some kayaking, listen to the radio and lounge by a pool, shop and eat good food, and maybe venture to the beach a couple times, this is the place to stay. We are already making plans to return.

Our stay was very comfortable. The furnishings, dinner ware, linens etc. were all of good quality, and the home was very clean. While we enjoyed the pool view, it was a little too chilly to really swim in it. (We were there in January.) The home was in a quiet neighborhood and a good location, close to lots of stores. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit.
