About this house rental
Beautiful holiday home complex on the south slope in St. Andreasberg on the edge of the forest in a very quiet location. It consists of 4 terraced houses with separate entrances for each house and apartment. The apartments are comfortable, tasteful and all differently furnished. The kitchens were equipped with modern kitchen furniture and have a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, etc. in the houses. The house has been managed by us for 50 years and is constantly being renovated, modernized and adapted to today's requirements. Free WiFi is a matter of course for everyone. Fixed line telephone only on request. Children are always welcome guests, so they are taken care of in the garden as well as in the house with children's chairs, beds, garden toys etc.

We stayed here for a week. Me, my wife, my parents and our lab Puck. It was a very pleasant stay in Ferienwohnung Walter. The decor is a bit dated perhaps but all the things you wish are present and more. The keeper family Diedrich is very nice and helpful. Only little drawback was that there is only wifi connection for one device per home. That should really be changed, especially with 4 people who each have a smartphone and a tablet this is impossible.
The village Sankt Andreasberg has few shops and everything is a bit on the shabby side but as for a location to explore the Harz region few can beat it. Nice shopping area in Bad Lautersberg is only 15 minutes drive away.
All in all we can recommend this holiday home.
