The Space:

Enjoy a peaceful stay in this spacious, completely renovated apartment near Gare de Lyon and Bastille. Perfectly designed, it is ideal for accommodating up to four travelers.



The apartment includes:

• A bright and welcoming living room: the lounge area has a sofa bed for two people with a real mattress (140 x 200), a television and unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi access.

• A sleeping area: the bedroom is equipped with a Queen size double bed (160 x 200) with new and extremely comfortable bedding, as well as a dressing room for your belongings and a ceiling fan.

• A bathroom: the bathroom includes a bathtub and toilet, as well as a hairdryer, soap and shampoo.

Sheets, blankets, pillows and towels are provided for the duration of your stay.

• A fully equipped kitchen: microwave, hob, kettle, washer-dryer, Nespresso coffee machine, kitchen utensils, pots and pans.

• A dining area: a space is provided to enjoy your meals comfortably.

The apartment also has a drying rack, iron and ironing board for your convenience.



Additional information: Facade renovation work is underway on the exterior of the building. This work, beyond our control, may cause some nuisance. No request for financial compensation can be accepted in this regard.

The Neighborhood:

You will be staying in a lively and pleasant area at the gates of the Marais, between Bastille, the Seine and the Port de l'Arsenal, an ideal location for discovering Paris on foot while enjoying a local and lively atmosphere. A few minutes' walk away, you can stroll around the Place de la Bastille (around 5 minutes on foot), enjoy the port quays or walk along the Seine for beautiful Parisian walks. The area is full of emblematic cafes, bars and restaurants, with very popular addresses such as Café Français, Brasserie Bofinger, Le Train Bleu and the numerous terraces around Bastille. Arriving from Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)? Take the RER B train towards Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, transfer at Châtelet-Les Halles to Line 1 of the metro, and exit at Bastille station. Our property is just a short walk away!



From Gare du Nord Train Station, hop on Line 5 of the metro towards Place d'Italie, disembark at Bastille, and you're almost at our doorstep!



Prefer buses? Lines 20, 29, and 65 pass near our location. Alight at Bastille and follow your map to our property.



Opting for taxi or ride-sharing? Provide our address to the driver. It's about a 30-minute ride from CDG airport and 15 minutes from Gare du Nord.



Our location is conveniently close to metro stations like Bastille (Lines 1, 5, and 8) and Gare de Lyon (Lines 1 and 14), ensuring easy access to key parts of Paris.



For RER stations, Gare de Lyon (RER A and RER D) swiftly connects you to Châtelet, Disneyland Paris (RER A), and Stade de France (RER D).



Various bus lines, including 20, 29, 65, and 76, stop at Bastille/Opéra, providing access to different neighborhoods.

The place is amazing, I really enjoyed it. The obnoxious part is the communication from the host company that manages it. They want a sizeable deposit that they ‘process 14 days after my stay’ without telling me if it will be sent back or not (even though I left the place spotless). They also have you fill a form that contains all the same info that would be in an app like vrbo in case a problem would arise. This is basically a company that has their own process on top of the app, so for the customer it’s a lot of unnecessary friction. Also someone called me without introducing themselves or what it was for just : ‘hello, you have not paid the deposit’, it was kinda rude. If this company reduced their process it would be a 5 star stay

We had a great time in Paris in spite of the rain. The apartment is up 2 flight sof barro winding stairs . There is plenty sif restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. The teian stations is only a couple blocks. It's clean and spacious for European standards. I wouldn't have more than one couple or a single person.

Like many older properties in Paris, this one is in a medium size building without elevators and ventilation is provided by street-size windows or central back air corridors that link other apartments behind you. The apartment is quirky has many strange spaces, but most everything worked and once you get the hang of the combo washer-dryer, that system functions well. My wife did note that a lot of trial and error (and frustration) could have avoided with some simple instructions on the washer and dryer. The drapes to the kitchen were not present, so we used a lap blanket to cover the window as the view from other apartments across the street and from the street below is a bit too revealing. But we managed to resolve that. Location of the apartment is excellent, with both the Bastille and the Aligre' Marches just about 20 minutes away. We found wonderful bistros, bakeries, grocery stores and butchers all within 5 minutes from the apartment. Once it started to rain on our last day, this came in handy! When it got a bit colder on the last couple of days, some instructions on the little wall heaters would have been handy too, never did figure out how to use those! But all and all, we enjoyed it and would recommend the apartment for a couple who wanted a bit more room.

This one bedroom apartment was perfect for the 2 of us. It would be crowded for more than 2. The kitchen had everything we needed and the washer/dryer was great to have for a week stay. The building was very quiet. We like to keep the windows open to sleep but there was quite a bit of street noise. We were required to make a separate deposit with Swikly 250 euros before arrival. We did get the deposit back afterwards.
