Come stay with us at the Pelton House, a terrific five-bedroom, ivy-covered lakefront house with a great private beach overlooking Lake Michigan! This brick home in New Buffalo sleeps 14 comfortably and features all the comforts and amenities of a home. A staircase leads down to a wide beach with small grassy dunes from which to soak in the beauty of the lake. This family-friendly brick house is circa 1938 and has an old-world charm, but it also boasts all the modern amenities including central air conditioning, wireless high-speed internet, satellite television, a fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, and washer and dryer.
A patio with a view of the lake features a barbecue grill, outdoor refrigerator, and two large wrought-iron dining tables–perfect for a family meal as the sun sets and the fireflies dance in the yard. If the children get tired of playing on the beach, they can shoot baskets on the basketball hoop at the side of the house. Those who prefer the shade can relax in the rocking chair and dive into the shelves of vintage books. The Pelton House is the ideal location for a relaxing summer vacation!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

View and location were wonderful. It was easy to get to the beach and to New Buffalo. The house is older, but worked for us. Our biggest complaint was the lack of window screens in house. It was beautiful at night, but fighting the mosquitos made it difficult to sleep.

Lovely old home literally on the beach. Right down the road from downtown. Only drawback is if you have a larger vehicle the parking can be a bit tricky. Would definitely stay again.

We love the beach, basketball hoop, big table in the main room to eat meals, play cards, paint rocks etc. I only gave it 4 stars because this cottage is very old and you have to understand that renting it.

The view out the back windows was fantastic spanning a panoramic view of Lake Michigan. The kids loved the spacious back yard spending lots of time on the tire swing. The bedrooms were large and provided a comfortable sleep. Overall everyone was very pleased with the property
