The accomodation has loads of character and is in a spectacular location with amazing views. We stayed in the accommodation in January and although the days were warm it did get quite cold at night however a good supply of fuel was provided to keep the log stove and other heaters going. The host (Jose) was very helpful and recommended many places to visit and an amazing restaurant in the nearby village of Algarinejo. One of the highpoints of our stay was relaxing in the accommodations hot Jacuzzi and watching the stars after returning from a day visiting one of the many beautiful towns in Andalusia.

Ermita de las Eras ist ein magischer Ort. Die Konstruktion und Aufteilung der Räume ist wunderbar. Die Höhe der Decken, das Holz, die warmen und einladenden Töne, die Fenster und Türen wie aus einer Geschichte. Du atmest absoluten Frieden. Es ist wie Tagträumen. Der Ort ist absolut intim, die Aussicht bei Tag und bei Nacht ist privilegiert. Nachts kann man alles sehen. Von der Milchstraße bis zu einem Elon Musk-Satelliten, der uns überraschte, als wir ihn im Whirlpool sahen und dachten, es handele sich um ein UFO 🤣. Das Einzige, was ich bei diesem Aufenthalt vermisst habe, ist die Möglichkeit, mehr Tage bleiben zu können! José Antonio, der Gastgeber und Besitzer, ist ein Mensch, der wie seine Hermitage Sensibilität und Magie ausstrahlt. Er war super hilfsbereit und freundlich zu uns. Die Ausstattung und ein paar Details, die uns angenehm überrascht haben, machten das Erlebnis perfekt. Die Liebe eines Mannes. Verpassen Sie nicht die Gelegenheit, diesen Ort zu besuchen und kennenzulernen. Ohne Zweifel die beste Unterkunft, in der ich je gewesen bin!

The views from this place are incredible. The stars were so close you felt like you could almost touch them. The sun rose in the east and set in the west which there were fabulous sun sets. You have shade too if needed to escape the sunshine. Having a bath looking out on the view was very relaxing. Jose was a wonderful person and went through the devises with us. The massive tv screan and sound system was brilliant. The house was well equipped and comfortable. A great place to stay to unwind and relax. Loja has a great restaurant called Flati. Well worth a visit or 3.

Thank you so much Jose. We loved staying at your beautiful church. The view from the pool was wonderful as well as from the jacuzzi. We sat back with a glass of wine and star gazed for hours. Kids got to see their first shooting stars which they loved. The church is very rustic and clearly a much loved home. Jose is a wonderful and kind host- thank you! The nearby town is so friendly and a nice morning running route (although I got lifts back up the mountain) Thank you so much. We would love to return!
