LOCATION
You do not need a car! But there is plenty of parking if you choose to bring one (see `parking` below for rates). Glacier Lodge is located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain in the Upper Village- Perfect for skiing or biking! TWO-MINUTE WALK to the Blackcomb Excalibur Gondola as well as a liquor store, restaurants, and so much MORE!!!

KITCHEN
RECENT RENOVATION with all new stainless steel appliances, your fully stocked kitchen awaits you! Nespresso (will need to supply your own pods), drip (coffee beans and bean grinder all there for you), milk frothier.... all the little luxuries.. you have it all! Spices, cooking oil and the basics are provided for your stay. We are FULLY STOCKED with pots, pans, silverware, etc. everything you need to curate a delicious meal. Clean-up is a breeze with the stainless steel dishwasher too!

STEPS OUTSIDE:
Portobello Restaurant, Fitzsimmons Pub, Legs Diamond Restaurant, a liquor store, a grocery store, and Fairmont Hotel. 10 Min walk to Whistler Village and Olympic Plaza! The complex has a Pool and Hot Tub, heated and open all year round!!

SKI AND BIKE STORAGE:
Wind down after a long day skiing or biking at our home. Curl up with some hot chocolate by the fireplace after checking in your skis or bike in the FREE, SECURE STORAGE ROOM onsite by the front desk

SKI RENTAL
Ski Rental is super easy with a great local store located within the Glacier Lodge itself! Either book in advance or pop in and see the specialist staff for assistance in finding the right gear for your adventure needs!

Wellness items:
The owner has thoughtfully included a yoga mat and a Theragun percussion massager gun—perfect for unwinding and recovering after a day on the hill. Enjoy these added touches for your comfort and relaxation throughout your stay.

LAUNDRY
There are laundry facilities in the building for a small fee. We provide laundry detergent in the apartment for your use. Please refer to the front desk for current rates.

GYM
There is a gym in the building for your use, including CARDIO machines and free WEIGHTS - stay fit while on vacation!

PARKING
Parking is $25 for 24 hours and is located in the building underground with secure access only. You can receive an access code when you check in with the front desk, this will give you access to the secure parking lot.

OUTDOOR HEATED POOL AND HOT TUB
The Courtyard area—including the pool and hot tubs—will be closed from June 9, 2025, through late fall 2026 due to a mandatory building-wide project.

This great location for a Whistler vacation offers the best of both worlds. The Upper Village is a family-friendly area complete with its own base lodge, ticket office, shops, kids center and ski rental. Just a short, ten-minute stroll from the busy Whistler Village, the Upper Village is a charming area filled with many delicious and popular Whistler restaurants and fantastic shops and boutiques that you can`t find anywhere else in town

During the summer months, Whistler Upper Village is home to the Adventure Zone, where families can go horseback riding, enjoy a round of mini golf, or fly through the air on a trapeze. The Upper Village is also just minutes away from the Chateau Whistler Golf Course.

With the perfect blend of alpine adventure and quaint village life, the Upper Village offers lovely and affordable vacation rentals in Whistler that allow you to stay, play, dine, and relax in the mountains.

You do not need a car to stay in this location of Whistler, you can walk anywhere! You can also use the bus system to get around which is located a 5-minute walk from the home. If you do have a car, you can park in the secure underground garage with coded access, just inquire with the front desk. Taxi services are also available in the area. Important note:

🔹 Pool & Hot Tub Closure
The Courtyard area—including the pool and hot tubs—will be closed from June 9, 2025, through late fall 2026 due to a mandatory building-wide project.

🔹 Construction Noise
There will be intermittent louder construction activities may occur 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (pipe cutting, slab coring, rebar delivery).
No work will take place on weekends.
Tent lighting may be on until 8:00 PM during workdays.

🔹 Patio Closures
All patios are currently closed and will remain inaccessible until further notice.

Propane tanks may run 24/7 (can be turned off overnight depending on temperature).

Waterproofing work may produce strong odors temporarily.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be no construction on weekends.

For stays of 14 days or more, one mandatory mid-stay clean will be scheduled and charged at the same rate as the check-out cleaning fee.

We were scheduled to stay in this 1 bedroom apartment in Glacier Lodge. Unfortunately, the apartment had a water leak the day we were supposed to check-in. The property manager was on top it though and promptly offered to transfer us to another suite in Bear Lodge, which was in the Whistler village and was available for the same days we had booked this suite. Overall, we were able to nearly seamlessly transfer our reservation to their other property. So although I cannot comment on the components of this specific property, my experience of working with the property management team at Nestaide was positive. The property we stayed in at Bear Lodge was very clean, comfortable, had all necessary amenities for preparing simple breakfasts and lunches, and was short walking distance to great restaurants and the chair lifts. I would say at either of these Nestaide properties again for a friends trip to Whistler.
