A spacious, family-friendly retreat near the University of Florida—designed for comfort, connection, and fun.
Located in a quiet Gainesville neighborhood less than a mile from UF and Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, The CHOMP HOUSE comfortably sleeps up to 16 and is thoughtfully set up for families, graduation visits, and responsible group stays. With a private pool, mini-golf green, and multiple indoor hang-out spaces, there’s room for everyone to relax and enjoy time together.
While the location is ideal for UF weekends, the home itself is intentionally designed for family trips and multi-generation stays—offering a safe layout, dedicated bunk room for kids and teens, and plenty of space to gather without feeling crowded.

The house was everything we needed and wanted for my husband bday dinner . Pool was a bonus . Location was good to every thing. Will book again

Definitely the nicest rental house we have stayed at in Gainesville. Only critique would be that the grass in the back yard needed to be mowed. It was overgrown and full of stickers, so the kids couldn’t run around back there

I went to the house to stay with my family for one night. There were 9 of us. Five adults and four children. Two of the children are autistic. The house was nice but definitely not worth the price. The pictures were very deceiving especially considering that things did not look that nice once we arrived at the home. The pool area was very dingy looking. There was also exposed wiring and electrical throughout the house. Which is extremely concerning because there were multiple bunk beds, which means that children are welcome there. Prior to even arriving, customer service was not all that great. I was offered early check-in and I confirmed I wanted early check-in only for the host to wait until the night before to tell me that we could not do an early check in. Which is fine, but why offer something if you can't follow through with it? Once I was at the home and decided to do laundry, because the children had gone into the pool, I realized that the dryer was full of linen and towels and everything else that they just left in there. Early check in couldn't happen because the cleaning crew had to have time to clean. It was subpar cleaning at best. I was not impressed at all by the house or the host.
